Commercial WC installation - using Saniflow Macerators

When I was asked to install two WCs in a factory it was unfortunate that I was not brought in at the planning stage as the toilet suite had been placed at the opposite end of the factory to the soil pipe. 

The solution was to install two Saniflow macerators and connect to the soil pipe with a 12 meter run of 40mm solvent weld pipe.

The entire length of the pipe was made accessible for maintenance by using strategically placed removable inspection caps.

Half way along the pipe run I installed a fall in the pipe to give the gravity flow a second boost on it's way to the soil pipe boss. This also served as a mid point inspection - rodding point.  

The installation has been in place since August 2007 and has run very successfully. No maintenance call outs have been received.
